It’s time to open the doors to Pink Month! Every October, the global community comes together to shed light on an important cause – breast cancer awareness. Everyone unites under the symbolic pink ribbon in the name of education, support, and solidarity.

Modon Properties is delighted to organize Hudayriyat Pink October, a month-long series of events and activities. At the heart of this initiative is a strong commitment to engaging with women and raising awareness about breast cancer, the importance of regular screenings for early detection, and the support options available. The campaign also aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle that plays an important role in the prevention of breast cancer and other life-threatening conditions.


Sunset Yoga

Sunset Yoga, a women-only event, will take place on the overwater cycling bridge with Hudayiryat Island’s famous sunset as the backdrop. Offering an hour of yoga session followed by a social hour, where women can bond through their shared experiences over mocktails, smoothies, and healthy bites.

Dragon Boat Race

Dragon boat racing has a well-established presence in the region with a dedicated community of enthusiasts who have cultivated strong connections through numerous national and international events over the years. As part of the Hudayriyat Dragon Boat Race series, we are introducing two races – 200 m and 500 m. Race Categories are applicable for both men and women.

Padel & Football Tournament

The world’s fastest-growing sport – padel – and most popular sport – football – will take center stage with a double women’s tournament. Registration is open to female UAE residents from all categories. The entire event will be organized by an all-female team, including umpires and ball kids, with Emirati padel champions and Hudayriyat Sport Ambassadors Alia Taher and Aisha Alawadhi in attendance.

Skate for Pinktober

The event aims to celebrate the resilience and strength of survivors while uniting the skateboarding community for a cause. We invite female skateboarders of all skill levels to showcase their talent and dedication to supporting breast cancer awareness. The program will feature a hands-on silk screening workshop that will teach the participants how to customize their jeans, as well as a creative skateboard deck spray painting workshop with a graffiti artist. Food vendors, thrift stores, and DJs will add to the vibrant atmosphere.

Hudayriyat Women’s Cycling Championship

“Hudayriyat Women’s Cycling Championship is proud to be a part of Hudayriyat Pink October. This month, we are hosting a flagship event under the initiative’s sports calendar with participation open exclusively to women – a cycling race with a competitive spirit but in a community setting, making it accessible to everyone – from beginners to professionals and elite athletes. To celebrate the sport of cycling, an after-race gathering for the participants and their support networks will be a key feature of the championship.

The event will also provide a space for women to interact and share important information on breast cancer prevention. At the core of this initiative will be engagement with the community to raise awareness about breast cancer, the importance of regular screenings for early detection, and the support options available.
